Mixed Nuts

What:  Becoming a brilliantly entertaining Christmas tradition for local dance fans in recent years, Vancouver's Arts Umbrella Dance Company is back with a clever, family-friendly remix of The Nutcracker that Tchaikovsky would likely love––a smart, modern dance extravaganza that fuses ballet, hip-hop, ballroom and more. Clever, engaging and never less than enthralling, this year's Mixed Nuts show combines favourite dances as well as new pieces by leading hooffers from the city and across Canada.
