Vancouver Christmas Guide profile: From the folks behind the wildly successful, admission-free Shipyards Christmas Market in North Vancouver comes this sparkling, first-ever satellite edition in downtown Langley. You'll find dozens of cute wooden huts lining the site, each showcasing seasonal treats, ideal artisan gifts and perhaps even a pressies or two for yourself. But it's not all about shopping: as with its North Van version, you'll also discover a warmly welcoming holiday atmosphere, complete with live entertainment, festive decorations, Santa meet-and-greets and plenty of Yuletide selfie opportunities. Add a full serving of tasty drink and dine options––including decadent desserts, hearty hot meals and an array of drinks such as mulled wine, winter beers and spiced apple cider––and you'll have plenty of reasons to keep coming back throughout the 29-day run.
