Christmas Market

What is it? (Information from 2025) Back for its second year after a highly successful first season, this free-entry alfresco Christmas market is just a few steps from North Vancouver's Lonsdale Quay SeaBus terminal (the short ferry trip across from downtown's Waterfront Station is a fun activity in itself). Once you arrive, you'll find more than 100 shoreline wooden huts showcasing lots of festive treats, artisan crafts and unique gifts. But that's not all; fostering a warm and welcoming Yuletide vibe, you'll also find live music and community performers on two special stages, cost-free activities for visitors (Santa photos included) and lots of cheery illuminations perfect for all your festive selfie needs. There's even a covered ice rink right alongside where you can show off your best moves. Make sure you arrive hungry at the market: there's a full menu of food vendors here, offering a wide range of international treats from Germany, Portugal, France, Italy and beyond. Thirsty? Don't forget to dive into some hot chocolate, mulled wine or this year's special Shipyards Christmas Market Beer. And be sure to snap a few twinkling selfies at North Vancouver's official Christmas tree, located right alongside.
