What (Information from 2023): A downtown Vancouver tradition for more than 30 years, bring all your friends and family to this walk-through wonderland of shimmering festive delights. The historic Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is once again transforming its lobby and public spaces with a gaggle of delightful trees, each individually decorated by local businesses and organizations. Check them out and vote by text for your favourite (proceeds go to the BC Children's Hospital Foundation). Make sure you save plenty of time to snap some Yuletide selfies while you're here; you might even be lucky enough to spot the hotel's lovely canine ambassadors snoozing in their daybeds. Keep in mind that the Festival of Trees isn't the only seasonal treat you'll find at the hotel this holiday season––check here for more. NOTE: this event has been cancelled in 2024.
