Jam-packed with music, jokes and great costumes, this brilliant, family-friendly version of Beauty & the Beast fuses high-energy panto traditions with lots of local references to create a whip-smart, highly original production. The story? Clever, business-minded Belle has always been different to the other kids growing up on Commercial Drive. But life takes an unexpected turn when, separated from her free-spirited Dad, she's imprisoned in an enchanted specialty grocery store by a strangely familiar Beast. Can Belle and her new friends––Miso Potts, little Tofu and their Bento Buds––change the perspective of Belle’s captor and break the curse? There are two ways to experience this year's show: in-person at the theatre or from the comfort of your home via online viewing. Coming to the theatre?
