What is it? A singular West Coast attraction that's guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit, check out a shimmering multitude of more than 150 outdoor Christmas trees (aka The Forest of Miracles) on the West Vancouver waterfront, each fully illuminated for the season by local groups, families, schools and businesses. The largest outdoor tree display in the region, it's part of the Dundarave Festival of Lights which also includes four successive Saturdays of noon-to-dusk Concerts and Merriment. This year, that includes November 29's Dundarave Christmas Fair; December 6's Nativity and Paddle Songs; December 13's World Christmas; and December 20's Christmas Wassail & Bonfire. Keep in mind that this festival helps raise much-needed funds for local programs and initiatives.
