Cranberry Holiday Baking & Craft Fair
What is it?Join the Richmond Gogos––the local branch of the international Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation––for this warm and welcoming annual holiday event for all the family. You'll find lots of delicious homebaked treats along with jams, preserves and a wide range of crafts, jewellery, Christmas ornaments and more. Live music and prize draws add to the fun, and you'll even have a chance to snap a photo or two with the ever-friendly Big Red Cranberry! The Richmond Gogos is a group of grandmothers (and "grandothers") who raise funds for grandmothers and their communities facing HIV-related discrimination and adversity in sub-Saharan Africa ("gogo" means "grandmother" in Zulu). This global solidarity movement now has thousands of members in countries around the world.
