What is it? (Information from 2025) A beloved holiday tradition hosted by Vancouver's hidden gem Pacific Theatre, this intimate, smile-triggering stage show is guaranteed to warm the cockles of any winter-season heart––no matter how much of a Scrooge you are the rest of the year. Expect a toasty and highly welcoming evening of prose and poetry with lashings of festive bonhomie and a full serving of good humour––along with a toe-tapping playbill of familiar and new-to-you songs. Hosted by Pacific Theatre founder Ron Reed, the line-up of performers changes every night (consider coming to more than one show). And keep in mind that this year's Christmas Presence is especially poignant, since the company has announced it will be vacating this venue and pausing its programming at the end of the show's run. A new chapter for Pacific Theatre is about to unfold, so let's send them off in style!
