Weirdos Holiday Market

What: In a new, larger venue this year, Vancouver's quirkiest holiday market is dedicated to helping you find unique, possibly odd and certainly original gifts for those stubborn holdouts on your Christmas list who think they have everything. Previous markets have seen everything from mushroom-themed jewellery to framed and mounted insects and from pottery shaped like mouths to beady-eyed tooth-and-claw taxidermy––so there's clearly something here for every eclectic taste among the 35+ stalls and large cooperative table shared by multiple artisans. But there's more: alongside it's vendors, the event also includes sword-swallowing, drag queens, holiday beverages, tasty food and––of course––those all-important tarot readings to help you plan your 2020.

When: December 14 & 15 (10am-6pm), 2019

Where: The Hall at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 154 East 10th Avenue, Vancouver

Cost: $2
