What is it? (Information from 2025) Back for its 15th annual edition, Surrey's sparkling (and totally free!) kick-off to the festive season is stuffed like a bulging Christmas stocking with amazing family-friendly fun. Expect a full menu of live music and performances on five stages plus a tempting array of Holiday Market vendors to help with your gift shopping––alongside shimmering Yuletide illuminations, free fairground rides, activities for kids, tasty food trucks and even the chance to snag some photos with Santa at no cost (reservations online from early November). New for 2025, you'll also find a 4,000-square-foot ice rink here, and it's free for those who bring their own skates and helmets (rentals are also available). A great way to launch your feel-good holiday celebrations, all the action will radiate from the city's official 60-foot-high Christmas tree, which will be switched on for the first time at 6:30pm on November 22.
