What is it? Richmond's shoreline Steveston Village is a popular go-to destination during the festive season, with a full menu of free or low-cost holiday happenings taking place throughout the community. One of our favourites is in Moncton Street's little Town Square Park, located alongside the gabled Steveston Museum and Post Office building. For two Saturdays in December, you'll find musicians, school groups and community choirs performing festive tunes––there's often a singalong element, too. Adding to the fun, you can also enjoy family-friendly crafts and activities, complimentary hot chocolate and the chance to snap some photos alongside the park's charming Christmas-season illuminations. While you're here, save time to explore the rest of the village, complete with its decorated shops and warm and welcoming restaurants.​
