What (from 2022): Music on Main's beloved annual Christmastime concert is a highly anticipated holiday season highlight for in-the-know fans. Settle in to your seat at this historic candlelit venue and you'll be transported by an evening of immersive, soul-warming sounds. This year's brilliantly-curated set includes songs by Robyn Jacob (from Vancouver band Only a Visitor); gorgeous solo cello melodies by J.S. Bach; Alfredo Santa Ana’s mesmerizing A Short Song for the Longest Night; and regular Solstice favourite Winter Carol by Caroline Shaw. On stage this year are Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa (pictured), Robyn Jacob, Asitha Tennekoon and Jonathan Lo. The perfect Yuletide tonic during an otherwise frenetic season, book ahead for this joyous show: there are only two performances.
