Marpole Museum & Historical Society Christmas Fair

What is it? This popular annual fundraiser for Colbourne House––Marpole's very own heritage attraction––is always a charmer. Celebrating its 24th season in 2026, the event will be a little smaller this year BUT it will be staged inside the antique-lined historic home itself rather than in a local church hall this time around. The house is a nostalgic, beautifully preserved working class cottage where the Colbourne family lived for 45 years, and it will be delightfully decorated for the season by its team of volunteers. This year's fair will feature vendors, a silent auction and homemade preserves and baking (we especially love the lemon curd, fruit cake and mince pies). There will also be apple cider and fresh-baked cinnamon buns to tuck into on the day.​​
