What: Returning to the stage in downtown Vancouver, Goh Ballet's beloved holiday season favourite is a must-see for locals of all ages. Immerse yourself in the utterly magical and sumptuously costumed realm of Clara's dream as she journeys via the Land of Snow and the Lemonade Sea to the Kingdom of Sweets––encountering the Mouse King, Sugar Plum Fairy, the Nutcracker himself and also the Snow King and Queen (plus lots of dancing Snowflakes). A live orchestra, international guest stars and a host of brilliantly talented young dancers bring this perfectly charming, visually spectacular and kaleidoscopically colourful live production to life. Note: this year's renowned principal dancers are Maude Sabourin and Felixovich Morante. As ever, the delights unfold as soon as you enter the theatre, where the lobby will be brimming with festive features––including scenic photo stations, a holiday choir, a Nutcracker boutique and more. Be sure to book ahead, though: this Christmas season blockbuster is always extremely popular and there are only five performances.
