Capilano Canyon Lights

What (Information from 2023): North Vancouver's iconic elevated hot spot has never looked better: studded with twinkling fairy lights like a shimmering necklace strung across the vast, tree-lined canyon. The lights spill over into the rest of the park as well, which means gem-like additions to the Cliffwalk and surrounding trees. But it's not all about snapping selfies in the middle of the bridge while your legs turn to jelly: there's also live seasonal music, family-friendly activities, a walk-through light tunnel and a new kaleidoscope light feature––plus a festive gaggle of fairy-lit Douglas firs that are reputed to be the largest Christmas trees in the world. Looking for extra fun? Tackle the self-directed Snowy Owl Prowl scavenger hunt this year and you could win a grand prize! While you're here, save time for the onsite Trading Post store––a huge boutique in a heritage wooden building that's brimming with local and Canadian-made gift ideas.
