Capilano

Canyon Lights:

What: This sparkling annual festive attraction has now been cancelled for 2020.

Here's what they were planning: North Vancouver's ever-popular lofty hot spot has never looked better: studded with twinkling fairy lights like a shimmering necklace strung across the vast, tree-lined canyon. The lights spill over into the rest of the park as well, which means gem-like additions to the Cliffwalk and surrounding trees. But it's not all about snapping selfies in the middle of the bridge while your legs turn to jelly: there's also live seasonal music, a family-friendly Owl Prowl scavenger hunt and a walk-through light tunnel––plus a festive gaggle of eight fairy-lit Douglas firs that are reputed to be the largest Christmas trees in the world.
