Alice in Winterland

Advert for Lamondance's Alice in Winterland holiday production, on stage in North Vancouver and Maple Ridge in 2026.

What is it? Join the contemporary dancers of Lamondance for this dazzling new seasonal show: an enchanting, family-friendly reinterpretation of the delightful Lewis Carroll classic. Alice's family has forbidden her from celebrating the winter holidays. But an unexpected gift and the sudden appearance of a strangely anxious White Rabbit lead her and her brother on an incredible journey into a magical, icy realm––where the Queen of Hearts has banned all festive cheer. Can the intrepid duo deploy the warmth of their shared holiday spirit to thaw frozen hearts and ultimately save Winterland? They'll need plenty of help from the Mad Hatter, the mysterious Caterpillar and a host of ever-multiplying bunnies. Exploring heartwarming themes of connection, forgiveness and the redeeming magic of love, don't miss this charming and original contemporary dance production this holiday season.
