A Christmas Carol Reading

What is it? Christmas without Dickens is like Halloween without pumpkins: you can do it but it's ill-advised. If you don't have time to read A Christmas Carol for yourself this year, though, head to this charming public reading event at St. Philip's Anglican Church in the city's Dunbar neighbourhood. This year, the team of readers includes Christoper Gaze, Charlie Demers and assorted CBC celebrities––and there will also be carols and sound effects to add to the fun. Better yet, proceeds will go towards supporting local families facing food insecurity challenges. Book your tickets as soon as they become available, usually around mid-November.
