What (from 2022): The 29th edition of this charming, family-friendly community favourite welcomes everyone to gather together outdoors––preferably with a lantern they have made––in a designated Vancouver neighbourhood, before joining an evocative illuminated evening procession. This year's three neighbourhoods are Yaletown, Strathcona and Granville Island, and there are extra events at each ranging from lantern-making workshops to cool live performances.
