Ukrainian Food Fair & Bazaar

What: Need to line your stomach for a long, hard winter? Arrive hungry at this annual Ukrainian community event (now in its 81st year) and fill your empty belly with homemade borscht, perogies and cabbage rolls. Once you're fully fueled, peruse the rest of the stalls and stands for traditional preserves, crafts and gift ideas, as well as raffles and a silent auction. There's a delightful old-school feel to this nostalgic fundraising event, underlined by the host of twinkle-eyed older people that run the show (and make all the food). Don't forget to pick up some perogies to-go on your way out the door.

When: November 17, 2018 (11am to 4pm)

Where: St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 560 West 14th Avenue, Vancouver

Cost: Free!
