EMV: An Italian Baroque Festive Celebration

What: Replacing this year's in-person Christmas season concerts from Early Music Vancouver, classical fans are invited to stay home, don their favourite festive sweater and pour a Yuletide tipple or two for this highly inviting online-only performance. Showcasing Italian baroque Christmas music and featuring mezzo soprano Krisztina Szabó and the Pacific Baroque Orchestra, the programme includes Arcangelo Corelli’s Concerto fatto per la notte di Natale, Alessandro Scarlatti’s Cantata pastorale per la Natività and Georg Frederick Handel’s Concerto Grosso op 6 no 8.
