What (from 2022): A delightful annual festive tradition for in-the-know locals and a perfect first-time holiday treat for those who have never been to an Early Music Vancouver concert before, book ahead for this unique and original Yuletide show. Directed by Alexander Weimann, the revered Pacific Baroque Orchestra plus a cast of amazing singers will bring-to-life some of J.S. Bach celebrated Christmastime compositions––the famous and ever-enduring Magnificat and the richly moving Cantata 110. Best of all, EMV's signature adherence to playing period music with of-the-era techniques as well as  antique and reproduction instruments (think: natural trumpets and baroque oboes) means you'll be hearing these compositions just as Bach intended.
